The Orthopedic Service Line Clinical Summer Internship will offer a dynamic opportunity for students who are passionate about healthcare and committed to making a meaningful impact in patient care. Our interns are considered valued members of our team and play a vital role in our mission to deliver excellence across both clinical and non-clinical areas. As a clinical intern, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced healthcare professionals and gain exposure to various aspects of our service line. This includes time spent in both clinical and non-clinical settings, designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of potential career paths and the broader healthcare environment. Interns will also have the chance to select a project that aligns with departmental and personal goals. Projects for 2026 are already outlined and will be reviewed by each intern at the start of the program. Past intern projects have included: Hand Hygiene Improvement (System-Wide Goal) and Infection Prevention in the OR Environment (Service Line Goal).
