Orthopedic Physician Assistant
About The Position
St. David's Healthcare is recruiting a full-time orthopedic Physician Assistant to work at St. David's Surgical Hospital in Austin, TX. St. Davids Surgical Hospital is part of St. David's North Austin Medical Center campus. It specializes in a wide range of surgical specialties, including orthopedic, neurological, bariatric, gynecological and urological surgery. Our 146,381-square-foot facility is equipped with advanced inpatient rooms, operating room suites, a post-anesthesia care unit (PACU), an intensive care unit (ICU) and a full-service pharmacy. Austin has earned a reputation as one of the best places to live in the nation. Requirements
- New graduates welcomed to apply but must have prior Ortho experience
- First assist required with heavy emphasis in orthopedics
- Licensed to practice in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
- M-F 6AM - 3PM
Responsibilities
- First assist
- Rounding at St. David's Surgical Hospital
- Call coverage: One compensated weekend call shift required per month
- Inpatient only
