About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Orthopedic Office Manager to lead daily operations and support the clinical, administrative, and financial functions of our busy orthopedic practice. This individual will oversee staff, optimize patient flow, maintain regulatory compliance, and ensure an exceptional patient experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred but not required.
  • 3–5+ years of management experience in a medical practice; orthopedic or specialty practice strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of medical billing, coding, and revenue cycle processes.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with proven success in staff supervision.
  • Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems and Microsoft Office.

  • Experience with surgical scheduling and orthopedic terminology.
  • Familiarity with value‑based care and practice metrics.
  • Ability to navigate high‑volume, fast-paced clinical environments.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day practice operations, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.
  • Manage scheduling, patient intake processes, and clinic flow to minimize wait times and maximize productivity.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor practice policies and procedures.
  • Supervise clinical and administrative staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and scheduling.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative team environment.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and development to ensure strong service and operational excellence.
  • Manage practice budgets, financial reporting, and performance metrics.
  • Oversee billing, coding, claim submissions, and revenue cycle operations.
  • Analyze financial performance and recommend improvements for efficiency and profitability.
  • Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA, OSHA, and payer requirements.
  • Ensure readiness for audits and inspections.
  • Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and care outcomes.
  • Oversee EHR/EMR workflows and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Collaborate with IT and vendors to resolve system issues and support upgrades.
