About The Position

Providence Medical Center is recruiting for an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their orthopedic surgery practice. The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant focuses on providing general care to patients of all ages, with utmost patience, care, compassion and understanding. Perform tasks within their scope of practice which may include conducting tests, recording medical histories, providing treatments, assisting physicians and enhancing public awareness on the importance of health, and prescribing medications. Requirements

  • Qualified sandidates will have 2 or more years' experience working as an orthopedic surgery advanced practice provider.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience required
  • Abiility to work autonomously if needed
  • Must be familiar with advanced concepts, practices, and procedures within the specialty of orthopedics
  • Minimum of two (2) years' experience as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant required
  • MSN with specialization as an ARNP.
  • Current state license as an Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant.
  • BLS upon hire and maintain current.
  • Previous experience with electronic health record.
