About The Position
The Nurse Navigator serves as a key member of the orthopedic care team, delivering personalized guidance and comprehensive support to patients throughout their care journey. Ensures seamless coordination of services, enhances the overall patient experience, and supports optimal clinical outcomes by acting as the primary liaison among patients, families, physicians, and multidisciplinary care teams.
Requirements
- Associates degree or higher in nursing required
- 3 years of Clinical nursing experience: orthopedic or surgical experience preferred.
- Registered Nurse (RN) in State of Minnesota required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider per established policy required
- Orthopedic Nurse Certified (ONC) Certified Orthopedic Nurse required within one year from date of hire
