About The Position

Atrium Health MSKI Lake Norman boasts a team of board-certified orthopedic surgeons specializing in hip and knee arthroplasty, surgical sports medicine, and hand/upper extremity procedures. Additionally, the clinic includes nonoperative sports medicine physicians and a dynamic group of Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) dedicated to serving the Lake Norman community and beyond. By joining AH MSKI, you become part of an extensive musculoskeletal network comprising orthopedic surgery subspecialists, non-operative sports medicine physicians, and MSK physiatrists. Atrium Health Lake Norman Hospital is a 36-bed acute care facility that offers a 24/7 emergency department, operating rooms, labor and delivery suites, and subspecialty services in orthopedics, heart and vascular care, and OB/Gyn. This opportunity primarily involves working in the inpatient space as an independent practitioner, addressing needs such as rounding, discharge planning, emergency department procedures, consults, and follow-up care. Occasionally, the Advanced Practice Professional (APP) may assist in the operating room or outpatient clinical setting as required. Requirements

  • Active North Carolina licensure (PA or Acute Care NP)
  • Must possess or be eligible for a DEA license
  • Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program required
  • NCCPA certification (PA) or national board certification (Acute Care NP) preferred
