About The Position

The Orthopedic Associate Sales Representative is responsible for achieving sales goals and quotas within their assigned territory. This role involves building and maintaining customer relationships, consulting with surgeons in operating rooms, and maintaining expert knowledge of Arthrex's product portfolio. The representative will implement sales strategies, communicate with customer accounts, and support compliance with company policies and regulations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of orthopedic or related experience; sports experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Demonstrated ability to relate to customers in the orthopedic/sports medicine market.
• Comfortable in open operating room environments.
• Knowledge of orthopedic procedures and terminology related to Arthrex.
• Knowledge of operating room protocols and procedures.
• Ability to learn technical information related to surgery and procedures.
• Prior sales experience is a plus.
• Strong public speaking and communication skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and make independent decisions.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in sales within the medical device industry.
• Familiarity with MS Office and business planning.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed sales objectives for the territory.
• Build and maintain strong business relationships with surgeons and healthcare professionals.
• Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies.
• Communicate product updates and educational programs to customer accounts.
• Cross-sell additional products and manage new product introductions.
• Address problems that arise at customer accounts.
• Support compliance and maintain confidentiality of information.
• Receive coaching and mentoring from the sales manager and transfer knowledge to peers.
• Maintain training in sales skills and product features.
• Collect competitive data and stay current on industry trends.
• Participate in sales meetings and professional association meetings.
