About The Position
HCA Healthcare Trident Hospital and Trident Orthopaedic Specialists are seeking a Physician Assistant to join their established Orthopaedic Surgery team in Charleston, South Carolina. Trident Hospital is a part of a 570-bed hospital tertiary-care system comprised of HCA Healthcare Trident Hospital, HCA Healthcare Summerville Hospital, and HCA Healthcare Live Oak Mental Health and Wellness as well as four free standing emergency departments - Brighton Park Emergency, Moncks Corner Medical Center, Centre Pointe Emergency and James Island Emergency. Requirements
- Graduated from an accredited school with successful completion of an approved PA program
- Active South Carolina state license, or the ability to get a South Carolina license prior to starting
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrates clinical expertise, leadership, and teaching in patient care
Responsibilities
- Mix of Inpatient and Outpatient responsibilities
- Surgical First Assist responsibilities
- Call requirements of 1:5
