The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center is seeking a highly qualified orthopaedic surgeon with fellowship training in sports medicine to join its faculty at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor level. This full-time position offers the opportunity to contribute to a nationally recognized pediatric orthopaedics program within a leading medical center known for excellence in patient care and research. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive orthopaedic sports medicine care to pediatric patients. Clinical responsibilities include evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of Sports-related general pediatric orthopaedic care with particular focus on the hand and foot, including both operative and non-operative management. Faculty members will be involved in teaching and mentoring, orthopaedic surgery residents, and sports medicine fellows. Teaching responsibilities may include didactic lectures, clinical supervision, and skills training. Candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to the development of future leaders in pediatric orthopedic and sports medicine. Faculty are encouraged to engage in clinical research, outcomes research, quality improvement initiatives, or translational research aligned with institutional priorities. Opportunities exist for collaboration with established research programs across Cincinnati Children’s, including sports medicine, biomechanics, rehabilitation, injury prevention, and population health. Academic productivity and external funding expectations will be commensurate with faculty rank. Qualified candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery and have completed fellowship training in Sports Medicine. Academic appointments will be through the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, with rank and compensation commensurate with qualifications and experience.
