Orthopaedics is ranked #1 in California and #5 in the nation. We are recruiting for an orthopaedic surgery faculty specializing in sports medicine. An ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in resident education and research. We are seeking candidates to join our busy faculty team in the Department of Orthopaedics. CSMC is a 915-bed academic center with state-of-the-art surgical facilities and an accredited orthopaedic residency program and an accredited sports medicine fellowship. The position will include clinical, teaching and research expectations. The strength of the program arises from a multi-disciplinary team of experts that includes more than 117 orthopaedic surgeons in the department many of whom hold national positions of leadership. We provide the full spectrum of care with specialized expertise in joint replacement, oncology, osteoporosis, pediatric, scoliosis, adult spine and trauma reconstruction programs, and joint preservation. Cedars-Sinai physicians and scientists are leaders in basic and clinical research, bringing advancements in medicine directly from the laboratory to the bedside. Opportunities for junior surgeons to collaborate with productive full-time researchers present a unique opportunity for the academically motivated surgeon.
