About The Position

Requirements

• Registered Dental Assistant License - Washington State (Preferred)
• Minimum High School Diploma/GED
• 1 year of dental assisting experience (Required)
• 1 year of orthodontic assisting experience (Preferred)
• Ability to relocate to Lakewood, WA before starting work (Required)

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding patient experiences at each visit.
• Support the team with preparation and maintenance for patient care.
• Set up and clean up for each patient visit, anticipating the doctor's needs.
• Take appropriate records, make retainers, and prepare teeth for orthodontic appliances.
• Use an intraoral scanner and 3D printers as needed.
• Maintain inventory and manage ordering as necessary.
• Continuously improve personal skills, practice environment, and patient care.
• Provide appropriate instructions to patients regarding hygiene and care for their orthodontic appliances.
• Assist orthodontic procedures as directed by the doctor.
