Become part of an orthodontic team providing excellence in orthodontic dental care with a focus on quality, service and patient satisfaction. The Orthodontic Assistant will provide clinical support to the orthodontist to facilitate the relationship between the patient and the dentists, increase the efficiency of delivering quality dental care and maintain communication between dentists, patient and administrative staff to insure a positive patient experience. Requires local travel between locations. Responsibilities Greet and prepare patients for treatmentChairside assistingTaking intra and extra oral photographsProper impression techniques for a variety of orthodontic appliancesLaboratory workProvide post operative instructions and patient educationPrepare, breakdown, disinfect and sterilize treatment rooms and instrumentsMaintain strict compliance to infection control, CDC, OSHA and HIPPAMaintain orthodontic supply inventoryPerform other related job duties as assigned Qualifications Knowledge of orthodontic procedures and terminology C.O.A. preferred Strong verbal skills Possess required certifications, licensure or registration as required by state Embrace a positive team approach to patient care
