Looking for a career that makes you smile? We’re seeking an Orthodontic Clinician to join our growing team. Experience is recommended, but not required. Responsible for delivering positive clinical experience to all patients while following strict adherence to company policies as well state dental laws, rules and regulations under the general direction and supervision of an Orthodontist.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability build rapport with patients and be engaging
  • Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with patients and coworkers and managers
  • Ability to use hand tools
  • Ability to set priorities regarding patient care, manage full schedules and multi-task

Nice To Haves

  • Orthodontic experience recommended, but not required
  • Radiography certification if required by state Dental Board (Recommended, but not required)
  • CPR certification if required by state Dental Board (Recommended, but not required)

Responsibilities

  • Places and removes orthodontic appliances and takes full records under general supervision of the Orthodontist
  • Performs bonding, placing, and expert positioning of brackets
  • Reviews patient charts, logs appropriate patient data and transcribes doctor notes
  • Performs laboratory procedures under limited supervision of an Orthodontist
  • Performs final checks on patients and leads patient flow
  • Manages the remote monitoring dashboard including review/triage patient scans, responds to direct patient messages, and triages notifications
  • Educates patients on orthodontic care and remote monitoring
  • Cleans, sterilizes, and prepares the equipment and operatory following standard protocols
  • Assists in Local Store Marketing and community events
  • Adheres to all infection-control policies and protocols
