Requirements

Proficient in dental assisting techniques and procedures
Knowledge of infection control protocols and practices
Familiarity with orthodontic equipment and instruments
Ability to take dental X-rays and intraoral scans
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
Basic knowledge of anatomy related to oral health and orthodontics
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
MUST LOVE WORKING WITH CHILDREN.
OA/RDA License by Dental Board
An upbeat personality is a MUST.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Familiarity with dental terminology, materials, medications, and instruments used during dental procedures.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of Dentrix Ascend.
Bi-lingual (Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist orthodontists in providing patient care and treatment
Prepare patients for procedures and treatments
Take dental x-rays and accurate orthodontic records (photos and intraoral scans)
Assist with infection control protocols and sterilization of instruments
Provide chairside assistance during orthodontic procedures
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records
Collaborate with the orthodontic team to ensure smooth workflow
