The practice has been serving the Western St. Louis area since 1988 and expanded to a second location in the Southern St. Louis area in 2018, focusing on quality and patient referrals. The role involves working in a small, close-knit office with a supportive and experienced team, including dedicated business assistants and typically four orthodontic assistants. The team benefits from extensive training, including specialized techniques like lingual orthodontics, under the guidance of lead Orthodontist Dr. Levens, a professor at St. Louis University. Requirements

Minimum (2) years of orthodontic assisting experience.

Responsibilities

Offer top-tier patient care, from reviewing medical histories to completing diagnostic tests and taking radiographs.
Actively support the doctor during examinations, including instrument handling and material preparation.
Ensure operational efficiency through treatment room preparation, instrument sterilization, and routine maintenance.
Educate patients on oral hygiene, appliance care, and post-treatment instructions to ensure optimal outcomes and patient satisfaction.
Work chairside both partnered with our orthodontist and independently in the orthodontic clinical space- offering traditional, lingual and clear aligner orthodontics to our valued patient base.
