Requirements

• Previous orthodontic or dental assisting experience preferred
• Knowledge of orthodontic procedures and instruments
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional, friendly demeanor
• Reliable transportation between both Plano locations
• Flexible, coachable, and able to take direction well

Nice To Haves

• RDA or orthodontic assisting certification preferred (if applicable)

Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during clinical procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
• Take patient records, including X-rays, photos, and impressions as needed
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and appliance care
• Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after treatment
• Support front office or clinical team as needed
• Complete tasks assigned by the doctor or office manager
