Requirements
- Previous orthodontic or dental assisting experience preferred
- Knowledge of orthodontic procedures and instruments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, friendly demeanor
- Reliable transportation between both Plano locations
- Flexible, coachable, and able to take direction well
Nice To Haves
- RDA or orthodontic assisting certification preferred (if applicable)
Responsibilities
- Assist the orthodontist during clinical procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
- Take patient records, including X-rays, photos, and impressions as needed
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and appliance care
- Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after treatment
- Support front office or clinical team as needed
- Complete tasks assigned by the doctor or office manager
