About The Position
Dental Health Associates (DHA) in Madison, WI is hiring full-time Orthodontic Assistants to join our award-winning team. We have two openings—one supporting Dr. Ammar Alsamawi and one with Dr. David Allen—both with a rotating schedule between our Fitchburg and Gammon locations. This is a 4-day a week position, offering a consistent weekly day off and a predictable schedule you can count on. Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to excellent patient care.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- Previous orthodontic assistant experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with orthodontic procedures, terminology, and equipment is preferred.
- Completion of a dental assistant program is preferred but not mandatory.
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist orthodontists during procedures, ensuring patient comfort and efficiency.
- Prepare, sterilize, and maintain orthodontic instruments and equipment.
- Take dental x-rays and impressions, following all safety protocols.
- Educate patients on orthodontic care, including the use of retainers and proper oral hygiene techniques.
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with scheduling appointments.
- Foster a positive experience for patients through excellent care and communication.
