The System Orthopedic Program Coordinator is responsible for the oversight of clinical program performance, compliance, and reporting for UVA Community Health’s (UVA CH) elective total joint and spine certification-eligible programs. The System Orthopedic Program Coordinator serves as a clinical resource within the organization to facilitate interprofessional collaboration and promote program objectives. Responsible for program outcome deliverables associated with quality, safety, access, patient experience, operational, and financial measures. Provides formal and informal program education for providers and team members. Collaborates with program medical director(s), clinical nurse navigators, rehab services, and nursing staff across the system to facilitate patient care and health management across the care continuum. Collects and manages clinical, financial, quality, and disease specific related care data.
