This job assists the orthopedic surgeon in the practice of medicine. This job is an extension of the orthopedic surgeon and assists in the care of sick and disabled persons. Responsible for being familiar with the clinical operations of a practice, specifically, casting application and removal. Maintains a working knowledge of departmental procedures and is able to perform certain basic nursing functions. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
