About The Position

ASRC Federal System Solutions (AFSS) is seeking a ORION Material Handler Technician, Associate to work at Kennedy Space Center, FL. Roles and Responsibilities Technician function that performs within but not limited to the following functional disciplines: Material Handling of critical flight hardware, kitting of flight hardware, material handling of flight hardware. Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems AFSS brings a 14-year history of delivering high-performance space systems engineering, integration and satellite operations services to civil and defense agencies. AFSS provides these services throughout all phases of the program life cycle and across the entire space systems architecture, including space and ground assets.

Requirements

  • High School diploma, or equivalent experience/combined education, with additional technical training sufficient enough to perform required basic calculations, electronic/mechanical assembly/test, computer operations, etc.
  • 0-2 years of experience

  • CDL A preferred
