Position Summary: Will work 3-20 hours a week. Orientation Leaders exemplify the Lobo Experience and act as a guide and mentor to incoming Sul Ross students. Orientation Leaders will assist the Office of New Student Programs with the management and implementation of programming, including: NSO and other orientation / retention related activities. This includes but not limited to: acting as a guide for new students and families; introducing students to their academic departments; orchestrating icebreakers and community building activities during the semester; addressing questions and concerns from students in a professional manner; attending regular meetings; helping in planning events; and showing concern for the academic wellbeing of fellow students.
