About The Position

Be a leader of change! As an Organizational Strategy Consultant, you'll lead organizational consulting engagements in support of broader business transformations. You will bring a consultant's mindset and toolkit to some of the most important initiatives at Vanguard. You will have the opportunity to work in all areas of our firm with our most influential leaders. Responsibilities: In this high-visibility role, you will Lead divisional and regional business consulting engagements to support large-scale business efforts on organizational effectiveness related topics including strategy, structure, governance, and roles. These engagements are generally similar in scope to an external management consulting engagement in a Human Capital or Organization practice. Partner with HR Business Partners to provide consultation to divisional leadership and identify opportunities to proactively improve organizational effectiveness. Consult with senior leaders on best practices around organizational design. Support key strategic initiatives in our Human Resources division. Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned. Requirements

  • Five years related work experience in one or more of the following specialties: consulting, organizational design, or large-scale project transformation.
  • Undergraduate degree required.
  • Experience working closely with senior leadership.
  • Experience in scoping and shaping project engagements.
  • Experience in the development and implementation of initiatives from strategy to execution.
  • Excellent consultative, relationship management and facilitation skills.
  • Superb problem solving skills; logical and analytical thinker.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to organize and present information in a clear and concise way to a variety of audiences.

Nice To Haves

  • Management Consulting background STRONGLY preferred.
  • Advanced degree is preferred.
  • Experience with organizational effectiveness, including design, diagnostics, and transformation is preferred.
