About The Position

The Organizational Improvement Generalist at Arrow Child & Family Ministries plays a crucial role in supporting various programs and departments to ensure adherence to organizational standards and practices. This position emphasizes the importance of aligning with the organization's cultural values and goals while fostering a respectful and service-oriented environment. The Generalist will be responsible for data collection, analysis, and the development of resources to enhance program performance and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related human service field.
  • At least 1 year of child welfare or human services experience.
  • 2 years in quality assurance, training, and/or risk management preferred.
  • Knowledge of Maryland COMAR and/or Texas Minimum Standards.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Suite including Excel, Word, Teams.
  • Intermediate skills to write reports, presentations, and business correspondence.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in child welfare or human services beyond the minimum requirement.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance and accreditation standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a strong understanding of program performance outcomes and organizational goals.
  • Facilitate data collection via agency client information systems and stakeholder surveys.
  • Read, analyze, and interpret professional journals and business periodicals.
  • Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Enhance technical skills by incorporating client information systems and various software platforms.
  • Interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Provide Arrow policies, resources, and forms for dissemination to leadership and accreditors.
  • Support agency staff in using client information systems, advocating for revisions, and communicating changes.
  • Develop resources, training, and support to reinforce agency outcomes and goals.
  • Monitor regulatory requirements for accreditations and disseminate changes as needed.
  • Support case record review and compliance processes in collaboration with operations.
  • Develop training and monitor compliance for organizational changes.
  • Manage Organizational Improvement helpdesk and related helpdesks as needed.
  • Support organizational improvement projects as assigned.
  • Establish working relationships with social, educational, and human services programs.
  • Respond to inquiries or complaints with professionalism.
  • Build knowledge of all programs supported by Arrow Child & Family Ministries.
