About The Position

This internship will offer the student an option to work hybrid/remote. Hybrid/remote will be the decision of the hiring manager and what that would look like for the student. When the student is not working remote their work location will be at OSF Mission Headquarters at 124 SW Adams. Student will be required to travel to on-site development activities at times and will be based on their availability to travel to their OSF work locations and the travel will be based on department needs. This internship is open to a student that can commit to working and part time hours (20-30) during the school year based on their school schedule, with the potential of working 40 hours during the summer. The Organizational Development Intern will support the assigned department by performing various clerical and project-related tasks and various administrative functions.

Requirements

  • Current student attending college/university in an undergraduate program with a focus in organizational development, human resources, healthcare, business or other related discipline.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels within OSF Healthcare.
  • Proven ability to multi-task, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of Excel, Canva, SharePoint, PowerBI, etc.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience or coursework in organizational development, human resources, or related fields.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

  • Assist with preparing and distributing reports, presentations, and other documents.
  • Organize electronic and paper files.
  • Perform data entry and ensure accuracy of information.
  • Collaborate with team members on various organizational development projects.
  • Conduct research and compile data to support project initiatives.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of training programs and workshops.
  • Schedule meetings and coordinate logistics with leaders and program participants.
  • Prepare meeting agendas and take minutes.
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas and insights.
  • Support other departments as needed to fulfill organizational goals.
