About The Position
The position involves playing for Traditional Sunday Worship Services and Pre-worship Rehearsals on Sunday mornings. The rehearsals take place from 10:00 am to 10:45 am, where the musician will run through the Choir Anthem, Hymns, and additional incidental music. The Worship Service begins at 11:00 am and concludes between Noon and 12:15 pm. The musician is required to perform a standard Prelude, Offertory, and Postlude each week, along with Hymns, Gloria Patri, Doxology, incidental music, and a Choral Anthem, which will be provided in advance of each Sunday service. Additionally, for Baptisms, an extra song must be played on the piano, and for Communion, which is observed one Sunday per month, additional music is also required. The instruments used include an Organ, Baby Grand Piano, and Upright Piano.
