In this role, you work behind the scenes collecting physician orders, lab results, and other critical information then indexing them into the correct files within the EMR. Requirements

High School Diploma required; college experience preferred
At least one year of general office experience preferred
Strong computer skills and comfort navigating digital systems
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
Reliable transportation
A commitment to accuracy, teamwork, and service

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of medical terminology preferred

Responsibilities

Maintain and organize electronic medical records with accuracy and timeliness
Review and process documents and images received through Forcura
Attach orders, lab reports, paper visits, and other documentation into the EMR
Enter and review coordination notes to maintain complete and updated charts
Monitor unsigned orders using agency software and track aging
Prioritize and follow up on outstanding orders to support timely claims processing
Send, collect, and track orders from physicians and other providers
Use order tracking notes to keep branch and sales teams informed of progress
Fax and re-fax documents to providers and facilities as needed
Collaborate with branch directors, clinical teams, and sales partners on outstanding items
Assist with phone calls, virtual meetings, electronic communications, and message routing
Support team activities with professionalism and a positive attitude
Review and process images such as wound photos or signed documents
Cross-train as a Document Indexer when needed
Participate in in-service training and ongoing development
Perform other duties as assigned to support workflow efficiency
