Orders & Demand Consultant Location: Decatur, IL – Tucson AZ Travel: Up to 5% Relocation Assistance: Available Visa Sponsorship: Not Available Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Orders & Demand Consultant to support the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process within the Rigid Frame Truck product group. This role partners closely with regional marketing teams and multiple sources of supply to confirm truck body availability and provide clarity on commercial agreements and technical drawings, enabling effective planning across the truck body supply value chain. This role serves as a key liaison between regional marketing teams, managing the truck body order board and ensuring alignment across stakeholders. This role is responsible for truck body inventory management. In addition, this position supports the onboarding of new truck body sources from an S&OP process perspective, ensuring seamless integration into existing planning and execution workflows.

  • Negotiating: Ability to negotiate successfully across the organizations in a constructive and collaborative manner.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to truck body opportunities submitted by regional marketing teams through the quoting process.
  • Follow up with opportunity owners and the MCOE team to obtain required truck body drawings, technical details and delivery requirements.
  • Participate in regional team discussions and act as a key liaison between regional teams and the S&OP organization.
  • Consolidate and publish truck body opportunity reports to support internal planning and decision‑making.
  • Collect and maintain accurate truck body inventory records across all source facilities and initiate liquidation actions as required.
  • Maintain and manage the truck body order board for regional source facilities and enable system updates as needed.
