About the position

The Order Support Specialist (OSS) plays a pivotal role in the efficient management of Network customer orders. This position supports Sales teams, Client Service Managers, and internal departments by ensuring the accurate and timely submission of customer orders into multiple CRM systems. The OSS ensures compliance with company policies and SOX guidelines, helping to drive revenue and enhance customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Primary point of contact to numerous Sales Account Executives, Sales Leadership, Client Service Managers to provide guidance on opportunity and order creation.
  • Stays abreast of system and process changes and ensures the communication of changes is clearly communicated to the respective sales teams.
  • Provides direction to the appropriate pricing applications and ensuring information is filled out correctly for accurate project financials.
  • Establish working rapport with Sales, CSM's, SE's, PM, Legal, Leadership, and Finance.
  • Helping the Sales Reps be more productive and successful through ad-hoc and assisting on training on system changes, product information, and CRM systems.
  • Assisting on creating training materials for sales and the respective teams.
  • Review and interpret order submissions for accuracy and ensuring all required documentation is included for order submittal.
  • Remedy system discrepancies, documentation, customer changes.
  • Work through challenging requests for customer changes to limit what churn is incurred by using established procedures.
  • Utilize different reports to identify and correct issues to establish accurate Sales and churn reporting.
  • Work special projects as assigned by manager.
  • Help identify process improvement and work with management to implement changes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Three (3) or more years of experience in Sales, Sales Operations, or Finance, preferably in the Managed Solutions or Telecommunications industry.

  • An ability to pay attention to detail to interpret Sales, and Sales Engineering notes and make appropriate decisions with how to process the data.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills such as the ability to communicate, interact and effectively collaborate with individuals and groups across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong problem solving, analytic and conceptual skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
