About The Position
Order Selector is responsible for but not limited to picking cases from the fleet loader pallet pick sheet and assisting in shrink wrapping product. Order Selector will also be responsible for positioning the pallet in the proper bay location as specified on the pick sheet. Performs all duties within the objectives, standards, mission and policies of Doll Distributing LLC; State of Iowa laws and regulations governing the beer industry; and brewery/supplier requirements.
Responsibilities
- Uses a scanner and mobile device to identify items to be picked to build orders
- Build stable and workable pallets with the product that the pallet ticket states
- Selects orders in an efficient and accurate manner according to company standards
- Understand and comply with all supplier product code dates, freshness, and rotation policies
- Maintain a high degree of accuracy in selecting products and loading trucks
- Exhibits strong commitment to the service needs of the internal/external customer
- Represents the company in a professional and courteous manner
- Compliance with all company and equipment safety regulations
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment
- Any other work as assigned
