About The Position
Job Description: MARS Solutions Group is looking for an experienced Order Selector located in Alcoa, TN. Our client is a Food industry leader looking for high-quality talent to make a difference. They are known to respect a traditional work week and often extend contracts for added job security and stability Role Summary / Overview As an Order Selector, you will safely and accurately select customer orders in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. This role involves operating warehouse equipment, building and wrapping pallets, and ensuring product accuracy and quality while meeting productivity standards.
Requirements
- Ability to read, speak, and understand English for safety, training, and communication
- Ability to work 8+ hour night shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
- Coachable, dependable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in physically demanding roles (warehouse, construction, farming, fitness, etc.)
- Experience selecting large-scale orders in a warehouse or distribution center
- Experience operating motorized pallet jacks or similar equipment
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Safely and accurately select customer orders using order-selecting software and equipment
- Build, wrap, and stage pallets to meet productivity and accuracy standards
- Perform pre-shift equipment checks and operate electric pallet jacks safely
- Verify product accuracy and ensure items are damage-free
- Transport completed pallets to the correct dock area
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by clearing aisles and returning equipment to charging areas
