About The Position

The Order Selector is responsible for accurately selecting, staging, and preparing customer orders for shipment during the mid-shift (starting at 4 PM). The Order Selector ensures orders are complete, accurate, and meet company standards for efficiency and quality. Attention to detail, consistency, and knowledge of products are essential for success in this role.

Requirements

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED
• Basic math skills and reading comprehension
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Ability to work for extended periods in cold environments
• Able to frequently lift 50–75 lbs

Nice To Haves

• Food Handlers Card is a plus (not required)
• More than 2 years of warehouse or food distribution experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Accurately locate and select products according to pick tickets
• Stage completed orders on the dock for shipment
• Load checked orders onto trucks as needed
• Handle shorted items as assigned
• Ensure product quality and quantity are correct
• Follow truck loading/unloading procedures
• Adhere to inventory procedures, including FIFO (First In, First Out)
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse and coolers
• Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding any operational issues
• Suggest ways to improve productivity and efficiency
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow all HACCP, SQF, and OSHA rules
