About The Position

Reporting to the PM Warehouse Manager, this position is responsible for but not limited to picking cases from the fleet loader pallet pick sheet and assisting in shrink wrapping product. Selector will also be responsible for positioning the pallet in the proper bay location as specified on the pick sheet. Performs all duties within the objectives, standards, mission and policies of Doll Distributing LLC; State of Iowa laws and regulations governing the beer industry; and brewery/supplier requirements.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• High School or GED (General Education Diploma) required.
• Basic computer skills; Outlook email experience or ability to learn
• Basic mathematical aptitude skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent time management skills; ability to prioritize work functions
• Ability to obtain certification in forklift and electric pallet-jack operations
• Ability to work with a diverse group of people and customer
• Steel-toed boots/shoes with skid-proof soles may be required

Nice To Haves

• Previous warehouse experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Uses a scanner and mobile device to identify items to be picked to build orders
• Build stable and workable pallets with the product that the pallet ticket states
• Selects orders in an efficient and accurate manner according to company standards
• Understand and comply with all supplier product code dates, freshness, and rotation policies
• Maintain a high degree of accuracy in selecting products and loading trucks
• Exhibits strong commitment to the service needs of the internal/external customer
• Represents the company in a professional and courteous manner
• Compliance with all company and equipment safety regulations.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment
• Any other work as assigned.
