About The Position

Order Selector - Vending Routes POSITION SUMMARY Build out snack totes, drink orders, and food orders for drivers to fill vending machines and build pallets for the transport driver to deliver to remote warehouses. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Load products into totes, ensuring that product is handled with care to avoid damage. Meet daily production targets while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy. Verify the accuracy of orders, ensuring that the correct product and quantities are loaded into the totes. Assist with the organization and management of inventory within the warehouse, maintaining accurate records and ensuring products are stored correctly. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that the warehouse is free from hazards and clutter. Import all information from outside areas. Print all warehouse and food orders from outside locations. Ensure that the product and/or supplies are being handled in a sanitary method consistent with GMP’s and properly packaged. Work well with others in a team-orientated atmosphere. Other related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 18 years or older.
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
  • Must be able to read, write, and perform basic math.
  • Must possess thorough understanding of warehouse process and procedures.
  • Basic understanding of materials management.
  • Regular, reliable, predictable attendance.
  • Review and adhere to all Pee Dee Food Service policies, including safety.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent attention to detail/accuracy and multi-tasking skills.
  • Must be self-motivated and can work with minimal supervision.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Must be physically and mentally able to successfully perform the essential elements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • The ability to hear, talk, understand, and distinguish speech and other sounds.
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, and sit.
  • Vision requirements to do this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Must be able to use hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, moving, and manipulating materials.
  • Must be able to safely lift up to 35 pounds on a periodic basis.
  • Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as lifting, balancing, walking, stooping and handling of various types of materials and parts.
  • This position requires walking or standing most of the time during the shift.
  • Bending and stooping is routine during the work shift.
