About The Position

Whole Foods Market is seeking Full Time Order Selectors for our Distribution Center in Chicago, IL. This role involves selecting and palletizing store orders for perishable products, including floral, meat, and produce, in a temperature-controlled environment. The position requires adherence to safety and compliance standards while working in a physically demanding setting.

Requirements

• Experience working with an electric/motorized ride on standing pallet jack (either single or double).
• Ability to read and speak basic English.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Team-player with a positive attitude.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently with little supervision.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with voice systems.

Responsibilities

• Use voice-based order system to select and palletize store orders.
• Manually stack product onto pallets, wrap, and prepare product for shipment.
• Respect all Good Organics compliances when stacking product.
• Operate an electric/motorized ride on standing pallet jack (either single or double).
• Assist in cleaning the warehouse and maintaining a safe working environment.
• Comply with all applicable health and safety codes.
• Communicate and maintain employee safety and security standards.
• Arrive to work on time and wear appropriate PPE.
• Complete required trainings and attend required meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Team Leader, Associate Team Leader, Facility Leadership.

• Base Pay: $19/hour
• $200 8 Week training completion bonus!
• $1000 milestone bonus!
• $500 @ 6 and 12 months
• $840 a month potential based on productivity and accuracy
• Rotating 4-day/10-hour workweeks including weekends and holidays.
