About The Position

Our supply chain network now branches across the Pacific and into South America and now we’re opening our newest distribution center in Weirton, West Virginia! We are excited to announce that we’re hiring a first shift Order Puller for our new distribution center in Weirton, West Virginia, just 30 minutes from Pittsburgh, PA. The Order Puller is responsible for filling customer orders using a pick list and preparing orders for shipment according to company standards.

Requirements

  • Must have the ability to read and understand detailed work instructions in English to complete daily tasks.
  • Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment
  • Must be able to safely lift, push, and/or pull up to 50lbs.
  • Able to walk or stand, bend, and lift for 8-to-10-hour shifts in distribution center environment
  • Must have a valid Driver's License
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • At least one-year previous forklift experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Use of manual or electric pallet jacks to load and unload shipments safely and move to storage locations.
  • Works under the close supervision of supervisor and team leader.
  • Receives daily work instructions and work assignments from team leaders.
  • Utilizes the pick ticket process to obtain product from location and ensures completeness and correctness of all orders filled.
  • Operates handling equipment to properly stage completed orders.
  • Packs warehouse orders as necessary.
  • Loading and unloading of pallets by hand or equipment.
  • Maintain all documents related to the order fulfillment.
  • Reporting of any non-conformance or compliance issues to the Supervisor.
  • Meet established performance standards for the position.
  • Observe all company rules and regulations.
  • Perform other distribution work functions as needed due to business volume and need.
