About The Position

Duties/Responsibilities: Efficiently pull customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped. Arrange all pallets to ensure safe delivery of products to customers and inspect all pallets for accurate stickers and addresses. Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Cleaning and preparing a job site. Pick orders in a timely fashion. Follow bill of lading correctly. Correctly build pallets according to company standard and customer specifications. Safely and efficiently operate a forklift, performing such tasks as moving pallets of product, supplies and equipment from point-to-point inside and outside the facility.

Requirements

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
  • Frequently walk and move about the warehouse.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch frequently.
  • Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
  • Use hands and fingers to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
  • Frequently push/pull objects, including pallets and loaded pallet jacks.
  • Occasionally required to climb ladders.
  • Ability to see and read labels, safety warnings, and instructions.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Must be able to work in varying temperatures, including freezer, refrigerator, and dry warehouse environments.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
