We are seeking a detail-oriented Order Processor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling various tasks related to processing transportation orders, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of all documentation, and maintaining effective communication with customers and internal teams.

  • Prepare order documentation accurately and in a timely manner
  • Log orders into Google Docs for material handlers to action
  • Correspond with customers regarding order status and inquiries
  • Perform daily audits of order documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy
  • Coordinate various transportation projects as assigned
  • Utilize Oracle for order transacting and data management
  • Verify orders to ensure they meet specified requirements
  • Verify waybills and shipping documents for accuracy
  • File and maintain organized records of transportation documents
  • Research and resolve problems related to orders and shipments
  • Coordinate pick-ups and create Bills of Lading (BOL) or House Air Waybills (HAWB) as needed
  • Support FedEx shipping lines and ensure compliance with shipping guidelines
  • Other duties as assigned
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
  • Previous experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain operations
  • Knowledge of shipping and freight forwarding processes
  • Experience in a similar order processing or customer service role
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as part of the job duties
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems preferred
  • Familiarity with SharePoint or document management systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for direct customer communication via phone and email
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to research and resolve issues independently
  • Experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems preferred
  • Familiarity with SharePoint or document management systems
