About The Position

The Business Operations Associate is responsible for preparing documentation, and processing shipments, including customer orders, non-order items, and subcontracting shipments, to ensure accurate and timely delivery. They support seamless customer experience by collaborating with internal teams and responding effectively to customer needs.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent education and experience
  • Minimum of 1-year related experience

Responsibilities

  • Check shipments for correct part numbers and quantities and pack items into appropriate containers, assuring adequate protection
  • Prepare domestic, international, and non-order shipments in accordance with company and customer requirements and specifications
  • Assure all documentation required by the customer and/or carrier is accurately prepared and affixed to shipments, including bills of lading, international documents, shipping labels, etc.
  • Enters all required information into the computerized systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness (i.e., order entry, repair orders, CRM, EDI, Amazon, etc.)
  • Answers incoming calls, emails, or live chats, providing both domestic and international customers with accurate information on products, availability, lead time, pricing, order status, etc.
  • Resolves inquiries or complaints regarding products, services, equipment return or repair, and other issues
  • Follow SOPs to accurately perform all aspects of the job with strong attention to detail.
  • Composes clear, concise, and complete emails and other documents, proactively including relevant options and alternatives, as applicable
  • Assists with ongoing departmental process improvements and proactively looks for potential opportunities and understands our customers at a deep level.
  • Performs other duties or responsibilities as requested or required
