About The Position

Under the direction of the Manager/Supervisor/Lead Person, the Order Picker is responsible for picking and scanning finished goods items for orders. Also responsible for adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
1+ year experience in a warehouse environment
Flexibility for overtime when needed
Must be able to read/write English
Ability to work autonomously and use resources available to complete tasks timely
Must comply with GMP requirements; specific functions and documents will be discussed in GMP and on the job training
Must be able to lift 50lbs
Work environment may be exposed to powders, chemicals, and allergens (peanuts, tree nuts, milk, dairy, eggs, wheat, gluten, soy, fish, and shellfish)..
Ability to work in a physically challenging environment, including bending, twisting, and standing for up to 8 hours.
We are drug free workplace, regulated by the FDA, required to follow Federal Guidelines; therefore in order to start as well as maintain employment, you must be able to successfully clear drug screening processes, which include testing for all illegal substances per Federal Guidelines.

Responsibilities

Other duties as assigned
Ensure correct products are being scanned/picked for orders
Help restock pick locations when needed
Responsible for housekeeping in pick area
Participates in training of new order pickers
Ensure Tablet and Scanner are returned to charge area at the end of the day.
Ensure safety regulations are followed in warehouse
Complies with company policies and procedures and maintains regular work attendance
