Requirements

  • Basic math skills
  • Detailed oriented, organized, and motivated
  • Ability to count and use scales
  • Ability to understand spoken and written English
  • Previous Forklift experience
  • Ability to work overtime and needed
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to sit or stand for 8 plus hours daily
  • Ability to use both hand, wrists, and arms with continual motion
  • Ability to push, pull, grasp, and reach objects
  • Ability to lift 30 plus pounds repeatedly
  • Ability to bend, stoop and walk frequently

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate Forklift to accurately prepare orders for shipment per customer specifications as assigned by shipping coordinator or management
  • Perform visual inspection audit of parts to verify part matches part number as well as basic quality standards
  • Double check all labeling and part numbers
  • Rotate stock to insure first-in-first-out (FIFO)
  • Safely load and unload trucks using forklift
  • Complete all necessary paperwork
  • Read and comprehend instructions and following established procedures
  • Keep workstation clean and organized
  • Cross train in other areas
  • Other duties as assigned or required
