About The Position

This is your chance to: Gear Up and Go: Operate order picking equipment like cherry pickers and reach lifts to efficiently select and pack a variety of products. Requirements

• Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance of the job would qualify.
• High school diploma/GED or equivalent education required. Two or Four-Year college degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration is preferred.
• Warehouse, plumbing, retail/customer service and forklift experience is also desirable, but not required.
• Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency.
• Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data.
• Hands-on commitment to getting the job done.
• Ability to recognize and read location, date, and product codes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment.
• Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
• Detail oriented with excellent follow up practices.

Nice To Haves

• Two or Four-Year college degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration is preferred.
• Warehouse, plumbing, retail/customer service and forklift experience is also desirable, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision, prepares merchandise for customers by promptly filling and packaging orders for will call or shipping.
• Looks up part numbers, quantities, product locations, and customer information on the computer and/or RF scanner.
• Refills shelves and racks from overstock, as needed.
• Receives orders through supervisor from prepared and prioritized work tags.
• Pulls orders from inventory, assigned zones, manually and/or utilizing forklift.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a cooperative manner with customers, co-workers and managers.
• Maintains cleanliness of the overall facility to support safety standards, with an emphasis on the area assigned to the workgroup
