Merchology seeks an Order Picker for our Receiving team. Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the Order Picker is a critical role that specializes in picking orders and maintaining inventory accuracy.

Requirements

  • Competent computer skills, can work independently in Excel and all Microsoft programs
  • Ability to stand for 5-8 hours per day
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and accurate
  • Positive attitude and collaborative
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds repeatedly
  • Ability to respect and follow Merchology’s core values while working toward company goals.

Nice To Haves

  • Working within an ERP or warehouse management system (NetSuite/ShipHawk)
  • Experience managing and troubleshooting inventory processes.
  • Experience working in a warehouse setting

Responsibilities

  • Put away inventory using Merchology’s processes, inventory and ERP systems.
  • Support cycle counts within ShipHawk.
  • Follow establish processes to ensure synchronization of inventory and order flow through ERP and WMS systems
  • Safely operate order picker equipment.
  • Pick orders according to set priorities, working with Inventory Specialist and/or Production Supervisor to resolve any issues.
  • Print orders to pick and pack using scanners.
  • Ability to work independently at times throughout the day.
  • Ability to follow directions to execute plan for the day.
  • Support implement changes and suggest ideas to improve efficiency.
  • Understanding of equipment and process order issues as they come up.
  • Count and inspect all products related to the work order.
  • Communicate with Production Supervisor or Inventory Specialist
  • Take ownership and accountability for all safety and quality incidents within your area of responsibility.
