About The Position
The Order Picker position at Baker & Taylor involves working in a warehouse environment, specifically at the Momence Book Service Center in Momence, Illinois. This full-time role is focused on accurately and efficiently picking products from shelves into tote pans using an RF unit and scan gun. The position is primarily on the second shift, from 1:30 PM to 10 PM, Monday through Friday. The essential duties include operating RF units and scan guns, picking books from shelves, completing destination cards for each tote, and ensuring the accuracy of orders picked. The employee will also be responsible for maintaining an acceptable level of productivity while adhering to safety and operational standards.
