WeatherTech Direct is seeking a well-qualified Order Picker/Transit Driver to join our team in Bolingbrook, IL. This full-time position primarily involves picking products from the warehouse and delivering them to the factory store or other company locations. The role is stationed mainly in the warehouse, providing a great opportunity for individuals looking to contribute to a high-performing team. As an Order Picker/Transit Driver, you will be responsible for monitoring emails and the website for customer orders, utilizing an RF scanner to pick orders from the warehouse upon receipt, and loading products into carts. You will then move these carts into a Transit or cargo van and safely drive to deliver products to their requested locations. In addition to picking and delivering orders, you will communicate with various departments to coordinate the delivery of documents and products for internal purposes. Operating various material handling equipment to pick and move products is also a key part of the job. You will be responsible for unloading bulk returns, entering returns into the database, and assessing returns for cleaning or disposal of damaged products. The position requires flexibility, as you will work a varied schedule that includes days, nights, and weekends, and may involve overtime as business demands. Training employees on different functions of the work area is also part of your responsibilities, ensuring that they can perform tasks properly while sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance efficiency and productivity. Adhering to company safety rules and maintaining a clean and orderly work area is essential, as is assisting other departments as assigned and performing other duties as needed.
