Join the Food Manufacturing Industry in a Manufacturing, Production, Warehouse, Factory type role! This position will operate in our cold storage warehouse. We will provide the necessary gear for the cold conditions. Shifts available 2nd shift 3:30pm-12:00am Wage Range starts at $17.00 per hour plus a Differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts. Wage range based on Knowledge, Skills and Abilities. Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED required
• Three months Material Handling Equipment/Forklift experience preferred
• Experience using warehouse management and inventory systems preferred
• Experience with the refrigeration, warehouse, production, or manufacturing environment preferred
• Experience following safety procedures preferred
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Ability to balance productivity, quality, and safety
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• This is largely a static role withstanding, however, the ability to perform repetitive bending and walking is also required. This would require the ability to lift 10-35 lbs. repetitively and up to 45 lbs. occasionally.
• This role operates in a wet and cold/refrigerated environment (between 38 and -20 degrees Fahrenheit) located within a manufacturing, warehousing, and production-type facility. Must be able to withstand cold temperatures for the duration of the shift
• Universal Pure facilities may process, pack, and or store products containing allergenic food ingredients as referenced by the FDA, team members who may come in direct contact, must be able to work with these ingredients.

Responsibilities

• Utilize an electric pallet jack to load, unload, move, stack, stage and count product materials
• Performing inventory counts for accuracy and discrepancies
• Shipping and receiving duties as assigned
• Use radio frequency equipment for picking, receiving and put-a-way
• Safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and equipment
• Perform order filler and checker duties
• Maintain equipment and perform pre-operation checks according to policy
• Follow health, safety, and cleanliness standards
• Excellent attendance and punctuality for an hourly role
• Handle any minor tasks related to the duties of the position
