About The Position

The Order Picker Lead role is expected to motivate, communicate, and drive teammates towards achieving D.C. Outbound Operations daily mission: To ship every order complete, on-time and error-free, resulting in fulfilling our Company vision.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED preferred.
Lead experience is preferred.
Must be safety conscious and follow procedures put in place for operating man-up equipment.
Must possess computer skills and the ability to learn warehouse computer programs.
Ability to multi-task.
Must show flexibility and a willingness to work in other areas of the warehouse to support business operations as needed.
Communication skills.
Team player.

Responsibilities

Lead with discipline and consistency, setting clear expectations and holding the team accountable.
Ensure compliance with Momentec Brands' safety standards by actively implementing and consistently reinforcing these standards among associates.
Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality, protecting sensitive information with integrity.
Ensure all Pick orders are shipped in a timely manner and shipped correctly.
Communicate with direct supervisor on all issues as they arise.
Become fluent with all Locus system.
Collaborate with leadership to align team engagement strategies with company goals.
Cross train in Outbound Operations including (Audit, Confirmation, Induction, Shipping Office)
Direct Employees throughout the shift to other picking zones as needed.
Become fluent in the Locus system to understand and explain all commands.
Communicate throughout the day with Inventory Control regarding orders with missing stock.
May be required to work different shifts depending on the need of the business.
Infuse the workplace with high energy, organizing team-building activities, motivational sessions, and daily morale boosters.
Other duties will be assigned from time to time either on a temporary or permanent basis which are deemed by the Supervisor to be consistent with the overall mission of Distribution Operations or the company in general.
