Summary/Objective: Transfer of packed finished product to the warehouse in a timely manner. Pick orders and validate part numbers and lot identification numbers to ship.

Requirements

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Six months of previous order picking experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Stand up reach truck and Order/ Cherry Picker experience required.
  • RF Barcode Scanner experience required.
  • Must be able to follow instructions and communicate clearly (verbal and written) in the English language, in support of safety and business needs.
  • Must be able to do basic arithmetic, including addition, subtraction and multiplication.
  • Ability to interface with other departments and employees.
  • Ability to follow written Quality Safety Process (QSP) and Standard Operator Procedures (SOP) that apply to the job requirement.
  • Ability to use rulers and common measuring devises.
  • Must be able to operate a hand truck and a forklift.
  • Meets job requirements while maintaining a high level of productivity, safety, service and accuracy within the written and on-the-job training of standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or assigned locations.
  • Pick and assembles customer orders from stock, accurately against picking tickets using an RF Scanner.
  • Load picked rolls onto pallets or convey to the shipping department.
  • Must use banding machine to safely secure the load for transit.
  • Use RF Barcode Scanner and workstation to make inventory transactions. Is able to validate reports and correct picking errors for 100% accuracy before shipment.
  • Operate the stretch wrap machine.
