Clipper Ship Inc is proud to deliver some of the freshest seafood to be found in the Puget Sound region to our customers. With exclusive access to a variety of wild North Pacific seafood, we set ourselves apart by only offering the best with expedient daily delivery of premium seafoods! We are seeking local delivery drivers / warehouse employees to pack and deliver our seafood to our customers. This position is crucial for ensuring that our customers receive their orders in a timely and efficient manner, maintaining the high standards of quality that Clipper Ship Inc is known for. The typical workweek for this role is from Tuesday to Friday, and Sunday, with working hours from 5:00 am to 3:30 pm. Days off are Saturday and Monday. Responsibilities include setting up the orders for the day, loading the van with orders to be delivered, delivering orders to customers, and picking up any orders coming back to the warehouse. Additionally, drivers are required to turn in signed copies of delivery receipts to the manager and communicate clearly with co-workers and customers to ensure smooth operations. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record, be authorized to work in the U.S., and be able to lift up to 50 pounds consistently throughout the day. Dependability and punctuality are essential, as is the ability to communicate clearly in English. While seafood knowledge is preferred, it is not indispensable. This position does not require a CDL driver's license, making it accessible for a wider range of applicants. Veterans are encouraged to apply!
