About The Position

The Order Management SME (Subject Matter Expert) Consultant will work remotely to support a reputable software/SaaS company by overseeing Order Management operations, optimizing processes, and enhancing performance metrics. This role requires extensive experience in Order Management and leadership, focusing on driving operational efficiency and implementing process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
• 10+ years of experience in Order Management or a related role.
• 5+ years of experience in effectively leading a team of 3 or more.
• Prior experience leading business process improvement projects and transformation initiatives.
• Prior experience performing gap analysis and identifying root causes.
• Energetic, self-starter able to absorb large amounts of information in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience working in the software/SaaS industry (Highly Preferred).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Eagerness to work collaboratively and effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day oversight of Order Management operations in the EMEA region.
• Optimize Order Management processes and drive operational efficiency.
• Review and refine billing templates for complex orders including umbrella deals.
• Assist with EOM and EOQ checklist template for operational and control efficiency.
• Assess risks with current processes and help implement mitigating controls.
• Review and enhance key performance indicators and metrics to assess the effectiveness of current Order Management processes.
• Review and enhance OM's Dispute Management process for timely and efficient resolution.
